Why Do Nano Brows Need a Touch Up?

Most clients need one main nano brows session and one touch-up, usually scheduled 5 to 6 weeks after the initial appointment. The touch-up allows Amber to perfect the shape, fill in any areas where pigment did not fully retain, and make sure you are completely happy with the result.

As your skin heals over 7 to 14 days after the first session, the color will soften and settle into its true shade. Some areas may heal lighter than others, depending on your skin type and how your skin responds to the pigment. The touch-up session is where Amber refines the strokes, adds depth and ensures the final color matches what you both mapped out at your consultation.

In some cases, a neutralization is needed first, so one or more extra touch-up sessions may be required. Amber assesses your skin and existing brow pigment at your consultation and confirms your full session plan and quote then.

What Happens During the Touch-Up?

The process is the same as your main session. Amber applies a topical numbing cream to keep you comfortable throughout. Then she uses the nano technique to place fine, hair-like strokes that mimic natural brow hairs. The touch-up session focuses on the areas that need more pigment or sharper definition.

Most clients describe the sensation as light pressure or a mild scratching feeling. Because this is the second pass, Amber can see where your skin retained pigment well and where it needs reinforcement.

How Long Does the Touch-Up Take?

The duration of the touch-up appointment is not listed on our site. Plan for the same kind of time commitment as your main session.

You will leave with fresh aftercare instructions. The healing process is the same: avoid picking, sweating heavily or getting the area wet for 7 to 14 days.

Nano Brows Pricing and What It Includes

Nano brows are $697. The final quote, including your touch-up plan, is confirmed at the consultation. Amber will tell you exactly what that price covers and whether additional sessions are included.

For permanent makeup appointments, a $100 non-refundable deposit is required and applied to your treatment. The deposit can be moved once with 48 hours notice. Late changes within 48 hours or no-shows forfeit the deposit.

If you have already had your main session, call the studio at 727-513-3925 to schedule your touch-up. If you are new to nano brows, start with a consultation. Amber looks at your skin, your features and what you want, does the mapping and quotes your price based on the technique you choose together and the number of sessions you will need.

Once you book, the team calls you to confirm: just the consultation, or a treatment too. You must be 18 years or older for permanent makeup services.

Results typically last 1 to 3 years depending on skin type, lifestyle and aftercare. Annual refreshers are recommended to maintain vibrancy over time.
