What happens in your session
Your visit starts with a short skin consultation. We look at your skin and your goals and confirm microneedling is the right choice for you.
Your skin is cleansed and a numbing cream is applied to keep you comfortable. Once it has taken effect, the microneedling device is passed over the treatment area in sections. Most clients feel light pressure with a mild scratchy sensation.
We finish with calming, hydrating Circadia products chosen for skin that has just been treated.
If you are pregnant, have an active skin infection, open wounds, or take medications that affect your skin, tell us before booking. The team reviews your health history at the consultation.

Aftercare
- Expect some redness and a tight, warm feeling afterwards, similar to a mild sunburn, usually settling within a day or two.
- Keep your skin clean and use only gentle products for the first few days. Skip retinoids, acids and scrubs until your skin has settled.
- Wear sunscreen every day and avoid strong sun exposure while your skin recovers.
- Your esthetician gives you aftercare instructions for your own skin before you leave.
