Most clients experience minimal discomfort. A topical numbing cream is applied before the procedure to keep you comfortable throughout. Sensitivity varies by person and treatment area, but the majority of our clients describe the sensation as light pressure or a mild scratching feeling.
How do I prepare for my appointment?
We recommend avoiding alcohol, blood thinners (like aspirin or fish oil), and excessive sun exposure for at least 48 hours before your appointment. Come with a clean face and, if possible, bring a reference photo of your desired look. We'll walk you through everything during your consultation.
What is the healing process like?
The treated area may appear slightly darker or more intense in the first few days, which is completely normal. As your skin heals over 7 to 14 days, the color will soften and settle into its true shade. Avoid picking, sweating heavily, or getting the area wet during this time for the best results.
Will I need a touch-up?
Yes, a touch-up session (usually scheduled 6 to 8 weeks after your initial appointment) is a standard part of the process.
