Like all permanent makeup, it is a cosmetic tattoo. It fades gradually over time, and every nano brow journey at KRIDO starts with a consultation with Amber, our permanent makeup artist.

Your appointment
What happens in your session
Consultation: Amber assesses your natural brows, skin and face shape, maps your ideal brow shape and chooses the technique with you. Nano, Powder / Ombré and Combo are all options. You see the shape before any pigment is used.
Treatment: a topical numbing cream keeps you comfortable. Most clients describe the feeling as light pressure or a mild scratching. Amber then places fine strokes along the mapped shape.
Perfecting session: about 5 to 6 weeks later, once the skin has healed, Amber refines the shape and fills any strokes that did not fully hold. In some cases extra sessions are needed; Amber confirms your plan at the consultation.
For 48 hours before, avoid alcohol and heavy sun. If you take blood thinners or any other medication, do not stop it on your own: talk to your doctor and tell us at the consultation. The team reviews your health history.
What to expect
Results and how long they last
Brows look darker and more defined for the first few days. That is normal. As the skin heals the color softens and settles into its true shade, and it keeps settling over several weeks.
Permanent makeup fades over time, commonly within 1 to 3 years. Oily skin, sun exposure and exfoliating products can make it fade faster. A touch up to refresh the color is normal. Results vary with your skin, lifestyle and aftercare.

- Do not pick or scratch as the brows heal. Light flaking is part of healing.
- Keep the area clean and avoid getting it soaked, heavy sweating, swimming and saunas for the first 7 to 14 days.
- Protect healed brows from the sun to help the color last.
- Amber gives you written aftercare at your appointment.
