Cellulite Treatments That Actually Work

Cellulite is dimpled skin caused by how fat, connective tissue and circulation interact beneath the surface. Cryo toning at KRIDO targets firmness and texture through cold therapy, red light and lymphatic drainage.

What Actually Works on Cellulite

Cellulite is dimpled skin that appears when fat cells press against connective tissue beneath the surface. It shows up most often on thighs, buttocks, abdomen and arms. The appearance comes from how fat is stored, how connective bands pull on the skin, and how well circulation moves fluid through the area. Hormones, genetics, skin thickness and body composition all play a role.

Most cellulite treatments fall into a few categories: topical creams (modest, temporary results), massage and mechanical devices (temporary smoothing), laser and radiofrequency treatments (require multiple sessions, results vary), injectables like QWO (medical procedure, targets connective bands), and surgical options like subcision or liposuction (invasive, longer recovery). For lasting change, you need something that improves circulation, supports collagen, and helps the lymphatic system move fluid.

Cryo Body Sculpting uses controlled cold exposure to support skin firmness and reduce the appearance of cellulite. Small studies suggest red light may support collagen production. It does not target fat. Instead, it focuses on skin firmness, texture and circulation in areas that look dimpled or loose.

Your esthetician chooses the technique at your consultation: a slimming approach for stubborn fat, a toning approach for skin tightening and the look of cellulite, or both. Either way, you book Cryo Body Sculpting.

Cryo Body Sculpting is designed to reduce stubborn fat. In a small study by the device maker, ultrasound showed fat thickness dropped by about 19% on average after a course of treatment. Results vary from person to person.

How Cryo Toning Works at KRIDO

Each session follows a three-stage sequence. First, Cryo Body Sculpting applies alternating warmth and cooling to the skin. This contrast causes blood vessels to tighten and then open. Next, red light therapy uses wavelengths between 630 and 850 nanometers. Small studies suggest red light may support collagen production and skin texture. Finally, manual lymphatic drainage massage can temporarily reduce puffiness.

You feel alternating warmth and cold during the treatment. Most clients find it comfortable and relaxing. Sessions take about an hour. There is no downtime. You may look flushed at first, but you can return to your normal routine immediately.

Common treatment areas include thighs, arms, stomach and buttocks. Each session is $299. Most clients start with at least three sessions for subtle refinement, with five to ten sessions ideal for deeper, lasting improvement. A five-pack is $1,300 ($260 per session) and a ten-pack is $2,300 ($230 per session). Every session includes cryo, red light and lymphatic drainage.

What to Expect at Your Visit

Your first visit starts with a consultation. Jennifer or Amber, our estheticians, each with 30 years of experience, reviews your goals, assesses the area, and builds your treatment plan. You pay for the session. Then you receive your first Cryo Body Sculpting treatment, followed by red light therapy and lymphatic drainage.

We ask you to avoid sugars and highly processed fats for at least two hours before your session, and avoid sugars and refined carbohydrates for two hours after. After your session, light movement like walking is encouraged.

Many clients notice tighter, smoother skin after just one session. Results build with each treatment. Progress depends on the number of sessions, the treatment area, your skin type and how well you follow the aftercare protocol.

After debating for a few years to book a treatment like abdominal cryotherapy, I am so unbelievably happy that I chose KRIDO and Amber! She is so informational, trustworthy and talented. My results are everything I hoped for & I will absolutely be back for more.

Frequently asked questions

Does cryo toning get rid of cellulite permanently?

Cryo Body Sculpting improves skin firmness, texture and the appearance of cellulite. Results build with each session and can last months with maintenance. It does not permanently eliminate cellulite, as factors like hormones, genetics and body composition continue to play a role.

How many cryo toning sessions do I need to see results?

Many clients notice tighter, smoother skin after one session. For deeper, lasting improvement, we typically recommend five to ten sessions. Your plan will be personalized during your consultation based on your goals and the treatment area.

Is cryo toning painful?

No. You feel alternating warmth and cooling during the treatment. Most clients find it comfortable and relaxing. There is no pain, numbness or discomfort that interferes with daily activities.

Can I combine cryo toning with other treatments?

Yes. Cryo Body Sculpting can complement other skin and body treatments. Your esthetician will review your health history and current treatments at your consultation to build a safe, effective plan.

How long do cryo toning results last?

Results depend on the number of sessions, your skin type, lifestyle and aftercare. Many clients maintain their results with periodic maintenance sessions. Following the recommended schedule and aftercare protocol helps results last longer.
