Nano Brows in St. Petersburg, Florida

Nano brows are a permanent makeup technique that creates natural-looking, hair-like strokes. Amber, our permanent makeup expert, maps your ideal brow shape and quotes your price at a consultation.

What Are Nano Brows?

Nano brows are a permanent makeup technique that uses ultra-fine needles to create individual, hair-like strokes. The result mimics the look of real brow hairs. Each stroke is placed precisely to follow your natural brow pattern.

Nano brows are a form of cosmetic tattooing, also called micropigmentation. Pigment is implanted into the skin to give the appearance of fuller, more defined brows. The technique is especially well suited to clients who want a natural finish, fine detail, or who have sparse brows.

At KRIDO Wellness, Amber Polacek performs nano brows. She has 30 years of esthetics experience and specializes in permanent makeup.

How Nano Brows Work

Amber assesses your natural brows, skin type and face shape. She maps your ideal brow shape, discusses color options, and confirms the technique that suits you best. Nano brows, powder/ombré brows, and combo brows are the three main options. Nano brows create the most natural, hair-stroke finish.

Once you book, the studio calls you to confirm: just the consultation, or a treatment too.

At your treatment appointment, Amber applies a topical numbing cream before beginning. Most clients describe the sensation as light pressure or a mild scratching feeling. The pigment is implanted with ultra-fine needles, building each stroke to match the direction and thickness of your natural hair.

Most clients need one main session and one touch-up 5 to 6 weeks later. The touch-up allows Amber to perfect the shape, fill in any areas where pigment did not fully retain, and ensure you are completely happy with the result. In some cases a neutralization is needed first, so one or more extra sessions may be required. Amber confirms your session plan and final quote at the consultation.

What to Expect After Your Appointment

The treated area may appear slightly darker or more intense in the first few days. This is normal. As your skin heals over 7 to 14 days, the color softens and settles into its true shade.

Avoid picking, sweating heavily, or getting the area wet during the healing period. Following aftercare instructions ensures the best results.

Results typically last 1 to 3 years, depending on your skin type, lifestyle and aftercare. Annual refreshers are recommended to maintain color vibrancy over time.

I had a consultation at Krido Wellness and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. Kristina, the owner, sat down with me beforehand to really talk through what I was looking for. She was so kind, thoughtful, and clearly knows her craft. I felt completely comfortable and confident walking out of there. I’m already booked to come back at the end of the month for permanent makeup and couldn’t be more excited. Highly recommend if you’re looking for someone who genuinely listens and cares about getting it right.

Nano Brows vs. Powder Brows vs. Combo Brows

Nano brows, powder brows and combo brows are the three main permanent makeup techniques for brows. Amber helps you choose at your consultation.

TechniqueAppearanceBest for
Nano browsFine, hair-like strokesNatural look, sparse brows, defined arches
Powder/ombré browsSoft, filled-in, makeup-like finishClients who fill in brows daily, oily skin
Combo browsHair strokes at the front, powder fill through the body and tailBalance of texture and fullness

Nano brows give the most natural result. Powder brows look like you have filled in your brows with a pencil or powder. Combo brows blend both techniques.

What Nano Brows Cost at KRIDO Wellness

Nano brows are $697. The final quote, including your touch-up plan, is confirmed at your consultation. A $100 non-refundable deposit is required to book your treatment appointment and is applied to your total.

Powder/ombré brows are $497. Combo brows are $597.

Every permanent makeup treatment starts with a consultation. A card holds your appointment.

How to Prepare for Your Appointment

Avoid alcohol, blood thinners like aspirin or fish oil, and excessive sun exposure for at least 48 hours before your appointment. Come with a clean face. If possible, bring a reference photo of your desired look.

Amber walks you through everything during your consultation.

Who Nano Brows Are Best For

Nano brows suit clients who want a natural, hair-stroke finish. They work especially well for sparse brows, over-plucked brows, or uneven brow shapes. They are also a good option if you have lost brow hair due to medical treatments or aging.

Clients must be 18 years or older. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have active skin infections in the treatment area, permanent makeup is not appropriate. Amber reviews your health history at the consultation.

5/5 Stars. KRIDO Wellness is awesome. I’d recommend them for facials, fat reduction/skin tightening for your body or face, and even permanent make up. Kristina, the owner, is absolutely incredible and truly cares so much about KRIDO, her team, and her clients. Both women and men would be happy they checked out KRIDO Wellness in Downtown St Pete.

Frequently asked questions

How long do nano brows last?

Nano brows typically last 1 to 3 years, depending on your skin type, lifestyle and aftercare. Annual refreshers are recommended to maintain color vibrancy over time.

Do nano brows hurt?

Most clients experience minimal discomfort. A topical numbing cream is applied before the procedure to keep you comfortable. Sensitivity varies by person, but most describe the sensation as light pressure or a mild scratching feeling.

How many sessions do I need for nano brows?

Most clients need one main session and one touch-up, usually scheduled 5 to 6 weeks after the initial appointment. In some cases a neutralization is needed first, so one or more extra sessions may be required. Amber confirms your session plan at the consultation.

What is the difference between nano brows and microblading?

Nano brows use an ultra-fine needle to create hair-like strokes, while microblading uses a manual blade. Many practitioners report that nano brows can offer more precision and better color retention over time, though individual results vary.

Can I get nano brows if I have oily skin?

Yes, but oily skin can cause hair strokes to blur slightly over time. Amber assesses your skin type at the consultation and may recommend powder brows or combo brows if they will give you a better, longer-lasting result.
