Lip Blush Color: How to Choose Your Perfect Shade
Your lip blush color is chosen at your consultation, where Amber assesses your natural tone and maps the shade that flatters your skin and features.
Choosing Your Lip Blush Color
Your lip blush color is chosen at your consultation, where Amber assesses your natural lip tone, skin undertone and features, then maps the shade that flatters you. You see the shape and color before any pigment is placed. The goal is a natural-looking enhancement that blends with your skin, not a dramatic change.
Many clients choose a soft pink, rosy nude or berry tone that evens out their natural lip color and gives definition without looking like traditional lipstick.
How Lip Blush Works
Lip blush is a form of permanent makeup, also called cosmetic tattooing. Amber implants pigment into the upper layers of your lip skin to create a soft, even wash of color. The result lasts one to three years, depending on your skin type, sun exposure and lifestyle.
A topical numbing cream keeps you comfortable during the session. The color looks darker for the first few days, then softens and settles into its true shade as your lips heal over seven to 14 days.

What Changes the Color Choice
Amber considers your natural lip color, any unevenness or darkness you want to correct, your skin’s undertone (cool, warm or neutral), and what you wear day to day. If your lips are already pigmented or uneven, she may suggest a neutralization session first to create a clean base.
Some clients want just a hint of color. Others want a bolder pink or a full lipstick look. Amber walks through the options and shows you the pigment shades that will work with your skin before you decide.
Popular Lip Blush Colors and Styles
Lip blush colors generally fall into soft pink, mauve, rose, berry and coral families. The technique you choose also shapes the final look:
Lip Blush ($497): a sheer, natural wash of color across the entire lip. The most subtle option.
Ombré Lips ($497): darker at the outer edges, lighter in the center, for a fuller, more dimensional look.
Full Lipstick Look ($597): deeper, more saturated color across the whole lip, mimicking a bold lipstick.
The final quote, including your touch-up plan, is confirmed at the consultation. Most clients need one main session and one touch-up five to six weeks later.
What to Expect at Your Consultation
Amber assesses your natural lip shape, tone and skin. She maps your ideal lip line and chooses the technique and shade with you. You see your shape and color before any pigment is used.
Once you book, the studio calls you to confirm whether you want just the consultation or a treatment too. Every visit starts with a consultation where we look at your goals and build your plan. A card holds your appointment. Permanent makeup appointments require a $100 non-refundable deposit, applied to your treatment.

One Client’s Experience
I had a consultation at Krido Wellness and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. Kristina, the owner, sat down with me beforehand to really talk through what I was looking for. She was so kind, thoughtful, and clearly knows her craft. I felt completely comfortable and confident walking out of there. I’m already booked to come back at the end of the month for permanent makeup and couldn’t be more excited. Highly recommend if you’re looking for someone who genuinely listens and cares about getting it right.

How Long It Lasts and How to Keep the Color
Results typically last one to three years, depending on your skin type, lifestyle and aftercare. Oily skin, sun exposure and exfoliating products can speed fading. Annual refreshers keep the color vibrant.
During healing, avoid picking at your lips, sweating heavily or getting them wet. The color will appear darker at first, then soften as your skin heals.
Who Lip Blush Suits
Lip blush works for anyone 18 or older who wants more defined, evenly colored lips without applying makeup every day. It is especially helpful if your natural lip color is uneven, pale or has faded over time.
If you are prone to cold sores, talk to your doctor before booking. The procedure can trigger a flare-up in people who carry the virus.
Lip Blush vs. Lip Filler
Lip blush adds color and definition. It does not add volume. Lip filler is an injectable that plumps the lips and is done by a medical provider. If you want both color and fullness, talk to your provider about filler first, then book lip blush once the filler has settled.

Frequently asked questions
Can I choose any lip blush color I want?
Amber works with you to choose a color that flatters your natural lip tone and skin undertone. Most clients want a soft, natural shade that enhances rather than dramatically changes their lips. You see the pigment options at your consultation.
Will the lip blush color fade over time?
Yes. Lip blush typically lasts one to three years, then fades. Sun exposure, oily skin and exfoliating products can speed fading. Annual refreshers keep the color vibrant and even.
Can I wear lipstick over lip blush?
Yes. Lip blush creates an even base, so lipstick applies more smoothly. Many clients find they can skip lipstick most days because the blush gives them enough color on its own.
What if I don’t like the color after it heals?
The color softens as it heals and looks different from the first few days. Amber maps and confirms the shade with you before starting, and the touch-up session five to six weeks later lets her adjust the tone if needed.
How much does lip blush cost at KRIDO?
Lip Blush is $497, Ombré Lips is $497, and the Full Lipstick Look is $597. The final quote, including your touch-up plan, is confirmed at your consultation. A $100 deposit is required and applied to your treatment.
