Permanent Eyeliner Touch Up
Most clients need a permanent eyeliner touch-up session 5 to 6 weeks after the main application. The touch-up perfects the shape, fills any areas where pigment didn’t fully retain, and ensures you’re happy with the result.
When You Need a Permanent Eyeliner Touch Up
Most clients need a permanent eyeliner touch-up session 5 to 6 weeks after the main application. The touch-up perfects the shape, fills any areas where pigment didn’t fully retain, and ensures you’re happy with the result.
During the first session, pigment is implanted into the skin to create a defined line or subtle lash enhancement along the upper lash line. As your skin heals over 7 to 14 days, the color softens and settles. Some areas may heal lighter than others. That’s normal, and the touch-up corrects it.
Why Touch-Ups Are Part of the Process
Permanent makeup heals differently depending on your skin type, how well the pigment takes, and how carefully you follow aftercare. The treated area may look darker or more intense in the first few days. As the skin heals, the true shade appears. In some spots, the pigment may not retain fully the first time.
The touch-up session allows Amber, our permanent makeup specialist, to assess the healed result and make adjustments. She refines the shape, deepens the color where needed, and ensures both eyes match. If a neutralization session was needed before your main application, you may need an additional touch-up beyond the standard one.

What Happens at a Touch-Up Appointment
Amber assesses the healed liner and discusses any changes you’d like. A topical numbing cream is applied before the procedure to keep you comfortable. She adds pigment to any areas that need it, adjusts symmetry, and finalizes the look you mapped at your consultation.
The session is shorter than the main application. Aftercare is the same: avoid picking, sweating heavily, or getting the area wet for 7 to 14 days.

Individual results vary.
How Long Permanent Eyeliner Lasts
Results typically last 1 to 3 years depending on skin type, lifestyle, and aftercare. After that, the pigment fades and an annual refresher is recommended to keep the color vibrant and the line sharp.
Some clients come back sooner if they spend a lot of time in the sun, use exfoliating products near the lash line, or have oily skin that breaks down pigment faster.
Scheduling Your Touch-Up at KRIDO
We schedule the touch-up 5 to 6 weeks after your main session. That gives your skin time to heal and the pigment time to settle. If you need to reschedule, permanent makeup appointments require 48 hours notice.
A $100 non-refundable deposit is required for permanent makeup appointments and is applied to your treatment. The deposit can be moved once with 48 hours notice. Late changes within 48 hours or no-shows forfeit the deposit.
I had a consultation at Krido Wellness and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. Kristina, the owner, sat down with me beforehand to really talk through what I was looking for. She was so kind, thoughtful, and clearly knows her craft. I felt completely comfortable and confident walking out of there. I’m already booked to come back at the end of the month for permanent makeup and couldn’t be more excited. Highly recommend if you’re looking for someone who genuinely listens and cares about getting it right.

What the Touch-Up Costs
The final quote, including your touch-up plan, is set at the consultation. Permanent eyeliner typically starts at $297. Amber confirms the number of sessions you’ll need and the total cost before any pigment is used.
If you need more than the standard touch-up (for example, if a neutralization session was required or if the pigment didn’t take evenly), Amber explains that during your consultation and factors it into the plan.
5/5 Stars. KRIDO Wellness is awesome. I’d recommend them for facials, fat reduction/skin tightening for your body or face, and even permanent make up. Kristina, the owner, is absolutely incredible and truly cares so much about KRIDO, her team, and her clients. Both women and men would be happy they checked out KRIDO Wellness in Downtown St Pete.

Frequently asked questions
How long after my permanent eyeliner session should I schedule the touch-up?
Most clients schedule the touch-up 5 to 6 weeks after the main session. That gives your skin time to heal and the pigment time to settle into its true shade, so Amber can assess the result and make adjustments.
Is the touch-up included in the price of permanent eyeliner?
The final quote, including your touch-up plan, is confirmed at your consultation. Permanent eyeliner typically starts at $297. Amber explains the total cost before any pigment is used.
What if I need more than one touch-up?
In some cases a neutralization is needed first, or the pigment doesn’t retain evenly, so one or more extra touch-up sessions may be required. Amber confirms your session plan at the consultation.
